
2009 Summer Clinics EACH 3-HOUR SESSION IS LIMITED TO 20 PARTICIPANTS Our clinics for ages 14-18 years old June clinics are cancelled. We look forward to seeing you in July!
Hitting will focus on basic fundamentals of the swing. We will introduce multiple drills to learn and perfect the swing. No matter your age or ability, this clinic will address your needs. Outfield we will cover proper throwing form, specifics on glove work and footwork, and situational defensive play will be covered. Athletes will learn that playing the outfield is an art within itself – one of the most important positions on the field – the last line of defense for your team! Catching we will cover all fundamentals relating to the position not limited to, but including: blocking, framing, throwing fundamentals, working with pitchers, pitch calling, working with umpires, and situational defensive play. Please provide your own catcher’s gear. Pitching we will provide specific instructions on pitching for all levels. Each player will walk away from the clinic with a concrete understanding of the fundamentals and what she needs to practice to become a great pitcher. All pitchers MUST bring their own catcher at no additional charge. The catcher can be a mother, a father, a sister, a brother, a teammate, etc. The coaches, consisting of former and current Triton players and the Triton coaching staff, will work hard to teach important fundamentals that will help you improve your softball skills. IMPORTANT CLINIC INFORMATION CLINIC CHECK-IN: 30MIN PRIOR TO START TIME: Signs will be posted for drop off and registration. WHAT TO BRING: Batting helmet, batting gloves, bat, sweats, kneepads, athletic clothing, cleats or turf shoes, visor or hat, water bottle, lunch, and something to drink. PLEASE NOTE: Pitchers should bring their own catchers (or a person to catch) to the pitching sessions (no charge for catchers). CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: No refunds will be issued one week prior to the start of the clinic session. If a participant leaves due to illness, injury, family emergency, or homesickness, the clinic fee is non-refundable. QUESTIONS?
